Education Background

My academic journey began at the University of Cape Coast, with a focus on Geography and Regional Planning. Over four years I deepened my understanding of development planning, urban and rural management, and disaster planning.

Exposure to GIS and Remote Sensing opened a world of possibilities. I led a student team researching hazards posed to nearby settlements by LPG stations in the Cape Coast Metropolis. This project reinforced my commitment to applying spatial knowledge for societal benefit.

Self-Learning Journey

My journey into programming began when I realised it could streamline spatial data tasks. Starting with Python, I invested in SQL to sharpen database query skills. To publish maps on the web, I studied HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.

This blend of academic foundation and practical self-study equips me to provide reliable spatial data services - from data collection and geocoding to cartography and interactive web mapping.
