Education Background

My academic journey began in 2015, where I embarked on my degree program at the University of Cape Coast, with a focus on Geography and Regional Planning. During my four years of study, I had the opportunity to deepen my understanding of the principles and practices of development planning. I gained a wealth of knowledge in urban and rural development planning, environmental management, and disaster planning.

One aspect of my academic experience that stood out was my exposure to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing. This field of study opened up a world of possibilities for me and sparked my interest in exploring its potential applications. In particular, I led a team of students to research the potential hazards posed to nearby settlements by LPG stations in the Cape Coast Metropolis. This research project not only enhanced my leadership skills but also reinforced my commitment to using my knowledge to make a positive impact in society. Overall, my academic background has equipped me with the necessary skills to tackle complex problems and find innovative solutions. I am eager to apply my knowledge and experience to make a meaningful contribution to the world, particularly in the area of disaster planning.

Self-Learning Journey

As someone who has a passion for spatial data and a strong background in programming languages, I am committed to providing my clients with high-quality data analysis, data visualization, and cartography services that are both efficient and effective.

My journey into programming languages began when I realized that I could streamline my spatial data tasks and make them less tedious. Starting with Python programming, I quickly discovered that I needed strong database query skills, so I invested in courses and books on SQL programming. To be able to produce and publish maps on the web, I embarked on a comprehensive study of front-end programming languages, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. While I am still learning, I have made significant progress in applying these tools to my work.

My educational background, coupled with my practical experience, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide my clients with reliable and accurate spatial data services. Whether you need help with data collection, geospatial analysis, geocoding, spatial data cleaning, cartography, or data visualization, I have the expertise to help you achieve your objectives.
